Take time out to slow down and allow some self-care. On retreat at Monalea you’ll be treated to a warm, friendly and quiet space up the hills and above a forest, far from the clutter of everyday life.
Hiking around the beautiful south Wicklow mountains with stunning views clears the mind and energizes the body.  Re-connect with nature as you walk mindfully through our trees and breathe in the pure forest air. This practice is known as  ‘shinrin-yoku’, in Japan and is recognised as a form of preventative health care with the physical. mental and spiritual well-being it brings.
In the evenings candles light up the walls for evening practices and after a meal, yoga nidra by the crackling fire completes a typical day on retreat.

Liz loves bringing people on retreat so they can really switch off from the outside world and connect to themselves. On her retreats expect to practice yoga, meditation, yoga nidra, journaling, eat healthy food, go on hikes, chat, laugh and have a good rest. After a weekend of self-compassion, relaxation and yoga it’s a joy to see the transformation in people at the end of her weekends.
