Take time out to slow down and allow some self-care. On retreat at Monalea you’ll be treated to a warm, friendly and quiet space up the hills and above a forest, far from the clutter of everyday life.
Hiking around the beautiful south Wicklow mountains with stunning views clears the mind and energizes the body.  Re-connect with nature as you walk mindfully through our trees and breathe in the pure forest air. This practice is known as  ‘shinrin-yoku’, in Japan and is recognised as a form of preventative health care with the physical. mental and spiritual well-being it brings.
In the evenings candles light up the walls for evening practices and after a meal, yoga nidra by the crackling fire completes a typical day on retreat.

About Amy

Amy runs retreats at the barn twice a year. The focus is on yoga, wellness, re-wilding women and juice feeding. Through her retreats she brings participants on a journey towards physical and mental freedom. Amy runs the Rathmines yoga collective in Dublin and her enthusiasm is infectious.
